I am still on an ice cream kick. And since it’s actually too hot here in New York to walk around looking for an ice cream shop, I did the next best thing and bought a pint at my local bodega. Now I like ice cream in its purest form, i.e. not a lot of ingredients like most supermarket brands, so I was happy to see that Haagen-Dazs has a new line of ice cream made with only 5 ingredients. My husband loved the milk chocolate while I liked the vanilla bean. It’s like having homemade ice cream without the fuss of churning and freezing and all that making it yourself entails. The five line comes in seven flavors: vanilla bean, milk chocolate, coffee, brown sugar, mint, passion fruit and ginger.
Their web site offers a flavor finder so you can find it. Visit Haagen-Dazs for more information. (They have a store locator which tells you which flavors have been delivered to the stores in your neighborhood.)
Go treat yourself!
